BACK TO THE FUTURE day was October 21, 2015 and nerds and super fans alike were blasting social media like it was going out of style. It is the day in which the characters of MARTY MCFLY and DOC went to in the “future” in the cult classic BACK TO THE FUTURE 2. Though the day didn’t look anything like the images from the movie, it was still amazing to see people get nostalgic about many of our childhood, and make us further realize that folks in the “future” only care about the past…and what is retro. But one good thing came out of the day, NIKE sent the star of the movie, MICHAEL J. FOX, a limited edition of the shoes that he wore in the movie that lace up by themselves. The company has announced that it will make a limited amount of these sneakers for public consumption, and all of the proceeds will go to THE PARKINSON’S FOUNDATION, a cause that is very near and dear to the actor who suffers from disease.
- THE OSCAR’S EDGE RETURNS…

The 87th Awards show broadcast will feature a familiar face as host. Comedian CHRIS ROCK will take the helm at this year’s OSCAR’S and hopefully he bring life to the award show. ROCK hosted 11 years ago to critical and fan acclaim. Though his stint on EMPIRE was just meh, he’s amazing at coming up with relevant jokes that will skewer, yet ease the egos in the room. And let’s not mention that if there aren’t many African-Americans nominated for the awards this year, there will be at least one constant black presence. Oh, I can’t wait to see what he brings to the table, because last time he said my favorite line that I quote daily, “There are only a few famous people in the world. The rest of ya’ll are just popular.” Good luck Chris and tune in to see what he has up his sleeve in the Spring of 2016.

The twenty dollar bill is about to get a makeover that the CONFEDERATE FLAG honorees will not look upon very well. President ANDREW JACKSON is about to be replaced by Underground Railroad pioneer HARRIET TUBMAN. The bill will be the first of its kind to not only feature a woman, but someone of color on the currency that has only shown white men who were presidents, well not BENJAMIN FRANKLIN, but that’s here nor there. I can’t wait to see Miss Harriet on my twenty dollar bills. I wonder what the fall out will be or if any other money will be changed over the next few years. Only time will tell.

TROUBLE IN THE SKY…
Just make sure that the next time that you’re on a flight that you move your seat back very carefully or violence could ensue. That is what happened on a San Francisco bound flight from LA last week on SOUTHWEST AIRLINES. Apparently a female passenger went to let her seat back and the man behind her began to choke her out. Well, the plane had to be turned around and the man was promptly escorted off the plane. The woman is talking about suing, and I wouldn’t blame her. Yes coach sucks and yes when people recline their seats it gets in the way, but what happened to civility? What happened to asking nicely and making sure that the people you offend aren’t in danger of violence? What has society come to? Anyway. Let’s just hope this doesn’t happen again. This is the third such incident on an airline that has resulted in violence in a year.
BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD…
A KENTUCKY judge stopped the prosecution and defense midway through a trial and made them go and recruit a jury that was reflective of the community in which the defendant was a part of. I guess this was done in an effort to give the defendant a fair trial. This was an unmatched move by judge OLU STEVENS, who is an AFRICAN-AMERICAN, to make it so that the trial would have no distinct biases and that there would be order in his court. I guess this is one step closer to making us one nation, and not many nations under God.
COUNTER, AND VICTORY…
TURING PHARMACEUTICAL’S’ CEO MARTIN SHKRELI made headlines weeks ago and controversy ensued when he marked up a medication that is used in treatment of HIV/AIDS patients to the astronomical price of $750 dollars per pill. This was up from 13 dollar a pill, leaving many patients unsure of how they would get their needed medication. Only MAGIC JOHNSON would have been able to afford such a price jump. But news has come down this week that IMPRIMIS PHARMACEUTICALS will be making a pill to counter the outrages price of SHRRELI’s pill, not for half the price of his, not even back at its original price of $13 dollars, but for $1 dollar a pill, in turn making the CEO livid at his competition. In Chess they call that a stale mate, there are no other moves, well unless he buys that company. And in that case it will come off as if he is against people and not trying to make money…#DAMN-GINA…
DOCTOR’S QUESTIONS…
When going in for a check-up now a days, it has become common place for the doctor not only to ask questions pertaining to the physical well-being of the child, but to the emotional and physical wellbeing of the child as well. It has been reported that doctors are now required to ask their younger patients if they have enough food. According to American Academy of Pediatricians wants doctors to make sure that children are not starving. They want to make sure that they don’t belong to a “food-insecure household, as one in which access to adequate food is limited by a lack of money or other resources.” This is very interesting. This is done rightfully so, according to the FEEDING AMERICA, there are 15 million children who are starving daily in this country. This is an epidemic that can easily be solved and doctors are hoping that they can curb this growing problem.

SHANIQUA JOHNSON, I can not make this up, a woman is LOUISIANA was arrested at a WALMART last week. What security thought was a routine shoplifting case went WAYYYYY SOUTH when they realized that MS. JOHNSON was pleasuring herself in the bathroom with a JIMMY DEAN SAUSAGE. Apparently the security guard walked in on her and she just kept on going. Like I said, I CAN NOT MAKE THIS UP!!! Only a WALMART.

LAMAR ODOM is the only man to have used crack and whores to get his wife back. And he’s successfully has done so since he and KHLOE KARDASHIAN’s divorce has been cancelled. KHLOE, who had moved on to FRENCH MONTANA for a bit, has vowed to stay by her husband’s side as he rehabilitates himself. As you will recall, ODOM was found unconscious in a NEVADA brothel after a weekend of drinking, drugs and screwing hookers. He was rushed to hospital in a coma, but woke up to find his wife sitting by his side, no doubt with the reality show cameras rolling. Well, good luck to them. That’s some real PATSY KLINE stuff right there, “STAND BY YOUR MAN”. Damn right KHLOE, damn right…And #SIDEEYES…
